Overview

A five-day ski week for the intermediate or better skier. Ski in Europe and improve your technique while you're there! If you've wanted to ski Europe, but have worried about language or arrangements, come with us. If you've wanted to attend a Harb Ski Camp, but haven't wanted to fly to North America, come to Austria instead. Campers and coaches lodge together during the week, making a special atmosphere. This camp will be the highlight of your season!

Open to all our customers worldwide, instruction is in English. Includes 6 hours per day of coaching, video analysis, and on-snow alignment assessment (limited equipment modifications available). Skiers must be able to negotiate (not necessarily with style or grace) advanced terrain and ungroomed slopes to attend.

Footbed and alignment "pre-day"

If you know that you would like to have footbeds made, or if you would like the complete indoor alignment assessment, we encourage you to come to camp one or two days early. Because the actual camp has full days of coaching, it is very difficult to accommodate campers who would like the complete indoor alignment session during the camp days. Indoor alignment sessions for campers are offered on the weekend prior to camp. Contact us for more information, or select the alignment pre-day option on the enrollment web form.

Long-distance travellers

For any travellers with a large time difference, we strongly recommend arriving on the Saturday before camp (rather than Sunday) in order to adapt to the time change. Having an extra rest day reduces your jet lag, normalizes your sleep pattern, and makes for a better camp experience.

Dates

28 April - 2 May, 2025

Lesson Times

approximately 9:15 - 3:30 each day

Cost

The total camp cost includes three components...

1. Coaching fees of $2500 ($US), payable upon enrollment

3. Lift ticket (purchased separately, see below)

(Plus any travel costs to get to Hintertux)

Lodging costs...

The Hintertuxerhof Hotel has "demand pricing". If you book early, or stay longer, then the rates will be lower. Here are starting prices for their various room options for 7 nights, including visitor tax...

Single room:
From 1.291,50€

Shared Juniorsuite "Hintertux" & Room "Tirol" (you provide the roommate!):
From 2.339,00€

Juniorsuite "Hintertux" & Room "Tirol" booked as single occupancy:
From 1.515,50€

* Many campers arrive early and/or stay after camp. The extra days can be arranged with the hotel.

*These rates do not include lunches, or beverages at the hotel.

Important payment information:

When you enroll online for this camp you will be charged the full coaching fee, $2500 ($US).

It is a requirement for this camp that all campers stay in the Hotel Hintertuxerhof. If you choose to stay elsewhere, we will refund your camp fees according to our refund schedule and you will not participate in the camp.

You will book your lodging directly with the hotel after you enroll in camp.

The remainder (any incidentals, such as footbeds or alignment) is due at the end of the camp. These remaining charges will be in $US.

Lift Ticket Cost

The camp price does not include lift tickets. Campers need to buy their own lift tickets for camp. These are available at the base of the mountain or through the hotel. Click here to see the rates...

Travel & Lodging Information

We stay at the Hintertuxerhof hotel, within walking distance of the lifts. It is a three-star-superior hotel, and the food and lodging are great. Staying with all the other campers is one of the highlights of this camp.

Please investigate the travel documents (passport, visa, etc.) that you might need. You should also look into your health insurance coverage for travel to Europe. You must have insurance coverage for air ambulance service, as evacuation from the glacier in case of serious injury is by helicopter.
